Iran will not let US warships enter the Persian Gulf, armed forces chief says

Major General Ali Abdollahi, chief of the General Staff of Iran's armed forces, said Tehran will under no circumstances allow American warships to enter the Persian Gulf. He claimed the US Navy is no longer able to approach the Persian Gulf and Iran's territorial waters. Abdollahi also cast doubt on Washington's statements about the destruction of Iran's military capabilities.
