Biodiversity science forums open in Yerevan as part of COP17

As part of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), the 7th Science-Policy Forum on Biodiversity and the 10th International Conference on Sustainability Science have opened in Yerevan. In her opening remarks, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan said that in order to protect nature, one must first understand it. She referred to the Law on Higher Education and Science adopted in 2025 and the science development strategy for 2026–2030.
