Sargis Meliksetyan to run the New York Marathon in memory of his brother

It is reported from Yerevan that Sargis Meliksetyan will take part in the TCS New York City Marathon on November 1 and will run 42.195 kilometers in memory of his brother Vahe. He has turned the run into a fundraiser for the Vahe Meliksetyan Foundation, created in his brother's memory. The campaign aims to support the professional development of clinical pharmacists in Armenia, including through international training and education opportunities. The first three kilometers have been sponsored by Freedom Broker Armenia, adidas and Joy, while the remaining kilometers are open for sponsorship. Sargis Meliksetyan says he wants each of his steps to have a purpose beyond himself: to create opportunities for young professionals and to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacy.
