At its October 13 session, the Yerevan Council of Elders decided to extend the free public transport benefit to one person accompanying a child with a disability. According to Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan, who presented the draft, the benefit will not be tied to a specific person and will be used by whoever is accompanying the child at the time, without a special ticket. He said 1,149 children currently have this benefit.
