Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Aram Vardevanyan, together with Strong Armenia faction MPs Harutyun Harutyunyan and Irina Yolyan, met on October 14 with newly appointed French Ambassador Florian Escudié. Vardevanyan presented his observations on democracy, the PACE report and post-election processes. The issues of Armenians held in Azerbaijan were also discussed, and the ambassador stressed the importance of parliamentary relations.
