Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan said on October 16 that claims of a late police response on the day of the Shaki incident do not correspond to reality. According to the minister, an off-duty police officer reached the scene less than 10 minutes after the victim's call, and an operational team was on site 10 minutes after a call to 112. On September 29, an Azerbaijani serviceman shot an Armenian citizen in the leg in Shaki.
