Armenia's Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan met with Türkiye's Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli in Yerevan on October 16 on the sidelines of COP17. According to the ministry, they discussed the opportunities opened up by establishing direct trade, as well as procedures for the transport and transit of goods subject to sanitary and veterinary control. Deputy Minister Arman Khojoyan also attended the meeting.
