New leopard recorded in Vayots Dzor's Gndasar conservation area

Camera traps in the Gndasar community conservation area of Zangakatun village recorded a new leopard on October 9 and 13, WWF-Armenia reported. According to the statement, it is the second leopard recorded in the area since 2025, while the number of bezoar goats has doubled. The animal was named Aghasi in honour of the area's caretaker, who has been involved in conservation work since 2018.
