The Anti-Corruption Committee has brought a new charge against Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan for abuse of official authority on two counts. Ghukasyan, who is under house arrest, was presented with the charge at the committee. One of the counts reportedly concerns the Hoktember cinema, and the other a violation of Article 60 of the Land Code. Lawyer Aramayis Hayrapetyan stated that the statute of limitations on them has expired.
