Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a briefing on October 22 that, in his view, the peace agreement with Azerbaijan should be signed in 2027–2028, adding that it is unlikely to be done this year. He clarified that the year 2031 he had mentioned earlier referred to the five-year mandate of the current parliament and government. Pashinyan also stressed the importance of implementing the TRIPP project, which he said is already getting under way.
