Avinyan orders purchase of electric buses only

On October 26, at an operational meeting, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan instructed the transport department to announce the next bus procurement tender exclusively for electric buses. According to him, the next stage should see the replacement of «Higer» buses. Avinyan also stated that the expansion of dedicated bus lanes should begin this year, which, in his words, increase the efficiency of transport.
