Pay rate for certified teachers may reach 300,000 drams

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports has put up for public discussion a draft amending the procedure for voluntary teacher certification. It proposes setting a rate of 300,000 drams per full-time position for certified teachers from January 1, 2028, in line with the government's 2026–2031 program. Those who pass the first stage will take a second stage with bonuses of 30, 40 and 50 percent.
