US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Ukraine currently has no access to the Starshield military satellite communications system. According to him, Kyiv has requested that access in order to carry out strikes deep inside Russian territory. Rubio also noted that Washington is discussing such a possibility with Kyiv. Developed by SpaceX, Starshield is the military version of Starlink, and the terms of its use are determined by the US government.
