At an October 22 briefing, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, responding to a report by representatives of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, said EAEU members have no right to expel a country from the organization. He said such an option exists in the CSTO, raising the question of why Armenia is not being expelled from it. Pashinyan claimed the report aims to provoke domestic political instability in Armenia.
