The Anti-Corruption Court has extended by two months the detention of Sedrak Kocharyan, son of second President Robert Kocharyan. He was arrested on August 26 and is charged with money laundering on an especially large scale, as well as with aiding abuse of official authority and the receipt of a bribe. Lawyer Hakob Kureghyan said the decision would be appealed to the Court of Appeal.
