Investigation into Zatik center caregiver case completed

The Investigative Committee reported that the preliminary investigation into the case of N.M., a caregiver at the Zatik children's support center in Yerevan, has been completed. According to the Committee, on August 9, during nap time, N.M. pushed a ward born in 2012 who was in the corridor into the group room and struck the child on the head and body with hands and feet. Charges were brought under Article 196 of the Criminal Code. The preventive measure was initially detention and was later changed to house arrest.
