Students took the Swiss government's official 2026 photo
Four students took the official 2026 photograph of the Swiss Federal Council. Federal President Guy Parmelin wanted a fresh perspective, that of the younger generation, and entrusted the work to photography students at the Vevey vocational school (CEPV). Nathan Bugnié, Aylin Fréfel, Samantha Keller and Léo Margueron were chosen, and their teachers guided them from the idea to its realization. The seven federal councillors and Chancellor Viktor Rossi were photographed together in the presidential hall. The students appear in the picture through an added layer, and one of them in the background pulls back a white curtain. The photograph was printed in 35,000 copies and is available on admin.ch.
