The Ministry of Justice has opened disciplinary proceedings against Armavir Province judge Hakob Manukyan, who had recused from the case of the Catholicos and bishops who are members of the Supreme Spiritual Council. According to the Supreme Judicial Council, the motion will be considered on November 16. The judge had justified the recusal by the fact that the advocate's license had been issued by Ara Zohrabyan, a lawyer in that case.
